ClassSync Cookie Statement
Last updated: July 1, 2026 Effective date: July 1, 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Statement explains how ClassSync, Corp., 144 Firefly, Irvine, CA 92618 (“ClassSync,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on class-sync.com and its subdomains, including academy sites operated by Operators on our platform (together, the “Platform”). It is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy; any personal information processed through cookies is handled as the Privacy Policy describes. Our Terms of Use govern your use of the Platform, and nothing in this Statement changes or supersedes them. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files (generally containing text) stored on your device to remember preferences and other information. By duration, a cookie is either a session cookie (deleted when you close your browser) or a persistent cookie (stored for a set period and read on return visits). By source, a cookie is either a first-party cookie (set by the Platform’s own domain) or a third-party cookie (set by a different domain, such as a service provider we use).
3. The Cookies We Use
3.1 Essential cookies only. The Platform uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you request. These cannot be switched off in our systems, because the Platform does not function without them. They include:
-
Authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in and maintain your session as you move through the Platform;
-
Security cookies that verify identity, prevent fraudulent use of credentials, and protect accounts (such as CSRF tokens), including fraud-prevention cookies set by our payment processor, Stripe (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid), when you use a checkout page; and
-
Preference cookies that remember settings you have chosen, such as language.
You can delete these through your browser, but parts of the Platform may stop working.
3.2 No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising or targeting cookies, social-media tracking cookies, or any other tracking technologies beyond the essential cookies described above. We do not use cookies to “sell” personal information or “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this Statement and our Privacy Policy first and provide the notices and choices required by law, including consent where required for visitors in the EEA and UK.
4. Your Choices
Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) provides instructions for doing so. Because the Platform uses only essential cookies, blocking or deleting them may prevent you from signing in or completing purchases.
Opt-out preference signals. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as required by law. Because we do not sell or share personal information and use no tracking cookies, there is currently nothing for such signals to opt you out of — but we honor them nonetheless.
Visitors in the EEA and UK. Because the Platform sets only strictly necessary cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will obtain consent where the law of your location requires it.
5. Cookies on Operator Sites and Third-Party Websites
Operators run their own academy sites on the Platform and may link to or embed third-party content or use third-party tools on those sites. Each Operator is responsible for its own compliance with cookie and data-protection laws on its academy site, including providing its own transparency to its Learners where required. When you follow links to websites outside the Platform, those sites set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.
6. Changes to This Statement
We may update this Statement. If we make material changes, we will provide notice — for example, by email to registered users or a notice on the Platform — before the changes take effect where required, and we will update the “Last updated” date.
